DAY 1 - Bucharest arrival - visiting Bucharest

Welcome to Bucharest! We prepared for you a visit to the Palace of the Parliament, the second largest building in the world after Pentagon. Or you can just walk in the old center where your hotel is located, taste a Romanian wine and feel the spirit of the people and the city! You will spend the night in the most beautiful hotel in Bucharest, Cismigiu Hotel located in the heart of the Lipscani area, the historical part of the city.

DAY 2 (240 km)

Today you will start your journey to the Carpathian Mountains! We have chosen for you a perfect motorcycle ride through the mountain with serpentines and a splendid view of Cheia Pass. Cheia Pass is one of the most famous passes in Romania but not very well known by foreigners. On the way, you may visit the biggest salt mine in Europe, Slanic Prahova. The Salt Mine stands today for one of the most important watering and climatic resorts in Romania, situated between the Prahova Valley, 53.000 sqm wide and 208 m deep. After breathing the amazing salt air, you have the chance to enjoy a Romanian traditional lunch prepared for you in the heart of the mountains, one of the most delicious traditional lunch you have ever tasted. You will continue your ride towards an old medieval city, walk on the narrowest street in the Europe and admire the gothic, baroque and renaissance architecture of the old buildings, as well as the wealth of historical attractions of one of the most visited places in Romania.

DAY 3 (310 km)

Enjoy today the ride towards one of the oldest citadel city through Praid Pass, the highest pass in Romania with an altitude of 1413 meters and a length of 50 kilometers. We invite you in the morning to experience the history, the myth, the intrigue and the magic of this wonderful place of Transylvania, the Bran Castle, commonly known as famous Dracula Castle. You continue your ride towards a small citadel which has preserved in an exemplary way the features of a small medieval fortified city and it has been listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Just nearby is the famous Citadell Valey Cave where you might have the chance to listen to a classical concert inside. After visiting the medieval citadel, you will ride towards an amazing and breathtaking place, you have the amazing opportunity today to spend the night in a citadel, a city with a great history and a place where you will feel like in the old stories with brave knights.

DAY 4 (170 km)

As an option, you may ride today towards Praid Pass, a beautiful pass created in the mountains. Besides the perfect landscape, Praid offers you the largest salt mine in Romania, Praid Salt Mine. With a surface of 1.4 km long and a depth of 2.8 km , Praid Salt Mine is a highlight in the area visited by 400000 tourists per year. You will leave behind an amazing place and ride your motorcycle towards one of the most important cultural cities of Romania which was designated, in tandem with Luxembourg an European Capital of Culture for the year 2007. Formerly the centre of the Transylvanian Saxons, the old city was ranked as "Europe's 8th most idyllic place to live" by Forbes. Visit the historical city, visit the highlights of the city and enjoy the most relaxing holiday atmosphere.

DAY 5 (150 km)

Should you be much excited today to ride on the famous Transfagarasan Pass, the most wanted road by motorcycle riders all over the world! Transfagarasan Pass crosses the Carpathian Mountains and offers you the most spectacular view in Romania. You will ride your motorcycle in the middle of the mountains where the sky meets the peaks and of course, in the middle of them, the most beautiful lake where you can swim and relax. You will come back to the old city and just relax for the rest of an amazing day!

DAY 6 (280 km)

A great day for motorcycle riding is waiting for you on one of the most spectacular roads of the Carpathian Mountains. Full of serpentines, Transalpina Pass, the highest road in Romania with 2100 meters altitude offers you a splendid landscape, a place where you can ride literally above the clouds. Stop on the way to Ranca Ski Resort and relax on the at 1600 m altitude. You spend the night in a cozy and beautiful location in the middle of the mountains.

DAY 7

You may visit today the Peștera Muierilor (Romanian for "The Woman's Cave"), which is an elaborate cave system located in the Baia de Fier commune, Gorj County, Romania. It contains abundant cave-bear remains, as well as a human skull. The skull is radiocarbon dated to 30,150 ± 800, indication an absolute age between 40,000 and 30,000 BP. It was uncovered in 1952. Right beside Peștera Muierilor we recommend you to visit the Polovragi Monastery, the most famous monastery in the region Continue your ride to Horezu town ,it is well known for its people who make pottery and present it at an annual fair. There are special traditions which have been well preserved. And ride your motorcycle towards Bucharest through a perfect motorcycle road and cross villages on the well known Black Hill, a hill full of serpentines, forests and lakes.
